The Problem
The problem in streetwear today is with so much demand for releases of exclusive items, (sneakers, t-shirts, hoodies, accessories, etc.), they have become hard to get when they drop.
This has led to the creation of “cook groups”, which are exclusive Discord channels that are paid by subscription to gain access to a community that gives information constantly on what’s releasing in streetwear, bots, auto-checkout services, and exclusive info on how to get the items you want.

The Solution
One app with exclusive information on upcoming drops of anything streetwear, community-like feel, and access to auto-checkout services to “cop” the items you want.

Analyzing Research & Identifying User Pain Points
- Hard to find accurate information about where to purchase general releases
- Many outlets claiming to have accurate real-time info about releasesHard to use interfaces
- No dedicated app with the info cook groups provide
- Good "cook groups" are expensive ($30 - $60)
- Many options for release information leave users not knowing who to trust

Creating a User Flow
When creating the experience for users it’s important to build a user flow. This helps to focus on the overall experience and goals of the user. This user flow shows the entries, exits, optional features, which helped in the developing the high-fidelity prototype.

Lofi-sketching
By putting some early ideas on paper I was able to see which layouts would be ideal for this app. Seeing everything on paper and aligning that with the user flow created helped to create the best user flow & layout. Also, working on paper is easier to pivot from, as opposed to hitting a creative block on a computer.
Wireframes
When creating these wireframes I wanted to go a little higher fidelity to really weed any design flaws in The Drop. This lead to highlighting the core functionality of the app from the beginning.
